Auspicious clouds symbolise the celestial realm, and are common in ancient Chinese designs representing luck and fortune. Both of these pendants, one with a satin finish and the other gilded in 24 karat gold, are gracefully shaped in a motif depicting the heavenly clouds.

In Chinese culture, the dragon plays an important role in the life of the people - from the Emperor to the peasant. One of the four supernatural creatures, it is the embodiment of strength, bravery, nobility and good fortune. Sculpted in relief with a pair of chi-tigers, a form of ancient dragon, this begonia shaped jade ornament originated from the Southern Song to the Yuan dynasties. Inspired by its beauty, the pewter pendant replicates the design in a modern form.
