Brewing a perfect cup of pour over Exchanging stories over a cup of coffee is the best. Brew a perfect cup of pour over by selecting your favourite coffee grounds and pouring hot water slowly over the coffee, starting at the outer rim and moving in a steady spiral toward the centre of the grounds.

Ensure all the grounds are saturated and wait for the coffee to drip before moving on to your next pour.

Adding a personal touch Impress your guests and bake your own desserts. Everybody loves glazed doughnuts. Try our simple strawberry glazed doughnut recipe.

Strawberry glazed doughnuts (yields 6 - 7) Ingredients 1 cup all-purpose flour 6 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder

Streamline, a collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, inspired by the exuberant Art Deco style.

4 tablespoons vanilla Greek yogurt 2 tablespoons vanilla almond milk 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter

Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter. Slowly mix wet ingredients into the first bowl just until fully combined. Do not overmix.

Use a pastry bag fitted with a large round tip to pipe the batter into a doughnut pan. Fill the doughnuts' cavities about 2/3 full.

Bake for 10 minutes until doughnuts are set and golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before removing from pan. Dip them into strawberry frosting a few times, depending on your preferred thickness.

Frost, inspired by the ethereal beauty of ice. The decanter and glass come with cooling coasters.

Top with sprinkles.

Market Hardshake

Ristretto Negroni ( batched cocktail )

5ml Haiver Modern Classic gin 10ml Fino sherry 15ml lemon juice

300ml Haiver modern Classic gin 200ml sweet vermouth 125ml aperol 200ml Campari 25ml sugar syrup 35g Fresh local coffee beans

20ml Sugar Syrup (1-1) 1 peeled lychee muddled

1 kaffir lime leaf 1 slice cucumber

Add all ingredients into a container and let infuse for 24 hours. Once infused strain off coffee beans and store Negroni batch into an empty bottle.

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and give a hard shake for 8-10 seconds. Fine strain over ice blocks in a low rocks glass. Garnish with a half-peeled lychee.

To serve: For every 90 ml of Negroni batch add 30 ml of chilled water. This can either be done when serving or making the single cocktail or added to the entire batch. Garnish with an orange slice.

They are collectively known as the Four Symbols ( 四象 sì xiàng) and culturally significant across the civilisations of East Asia since the 5th millennium BCE. They are also referred to by a variety of other names, including Four Guardians, Four Gods, and Four Auspicious Beasts. Aside from representing the four cardinal directions, each guardian also represents a colour, a season of the year, time of day, and a natural element. Benevolence presents award-winning master sculptor, Xu Xiao Yong's interpretation of the wonder and majesty of the celestial guardians.

Ancient Chinese astronomy divides the constellations into four groups which correspond to the four cardinal directions. Each direction is assigned a mythological creature as guardian; the Azure Dragon of the east ( 青龍 Qinglong), Vermilion Phoenix of the south ( 朱雀 Zhuque), White Tiger of the west ( 白虎 Baihu) and Black Tortoise of the north ( 玄武 Xuanwu).
