ERIK MAGNUSSEN

Erik Magnussen (1940-2014) is best known for his tableware for Stelton and furniture for Fritz Hansen, with work represented in the collections of design museums around the world. The Copenhagen native is the recipient of numerous awards, amongst them Denmark’s Lunning and Furniture Prizes, multiple ID prizes by the Danish Society of Industrial Design, Germany’s red dot award, and the Good Design Gold Prize awarded by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.
