Deriving from the Bauhaus movement by way of Internationalism, the sleek modernity of the design style reflects the confidence of the post-war era. The Bar collection parlays the exuberant architectural, interiors and graphic design style of the mid 20th century into an array of suave bar accessories, made for entertaining and the enjoyment of that mid-century requisite, the cocktail.

A leading member of the 19th century Arts and Crafts Movement, Englishman William Morris’ (1834-1896) legacy cannot be understated. A master in many disciplines of design, he is perhaps most celebrated for his glorious patterns, many of which remain popular to this day. His late 1890s ornamental borders for The History of Godefrey of Boloyne and The Works of Geoffrey Chaucer by his own Kelmscott Press form the basis of the grape and vine motif in this collection, produced in collaboration with the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
