The infinite beauty of divine perfection is represented by the interlacing motifs that encompass both rigid linework and the more expressive nature of organic pattern. Mesmerising leaf and tendril arabesques, derived from the carved pulpit of a 15th century Egyptian mosque, stand in contrast against the mathematical precision of formal geometry, accentuating each other.
