OUR HALLMARKS
INSTITUTED IN THE FOURTEENTH CENTURY, THE PRACTICE OF IMPRESSING SYMBOLS ON GOLD AND SILVER OBJECTS WAS INITIATED AS A METHOD OF QUALITY CONTROL AND CONSUMER PROTECTION.
MAKER’S MARK
The Maker’s Mark is a personal sign of the silversmith and can be likened to an artist’s signature on a painting.
STERLING SILVER MARK
The metal content is confirmed with the symbol ‘925’, which is the internationally accepted standard for sterling silver comprising 925 parts per thousand, or 92.5 percent of silver in the alloy.
ASSAY OFFICE MARK
Each assay office has its own mark. The cougar’s head is the mark of the Kuala Lumpur Assay Office of Malaysia.
DATE LETTER
The date letter or year of assay is used to date an article, each year is represented by a different letter, with ‘z’ representing 2024. Each cycle is differentiated with a different typeface and shield.

BULOH VASE

Limited to 100 pieces only.

HOODED HAWK
Originating possibly as early as 2000 BC, the practice of falconry became a popular sport particularly among the nobility of medieval Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia. Comyns’ hawk, with its fine hand chased plumage, alert eyes and well-defined beak, is tethered to an Arab style block perch, and features the requisite equipment associated with falconry. The hood, which serves to acclimatize the raptor to its handler, and to keep it calm both in training and throughout its career, is considered the falconer’s most essential piece of equipment. Its plumed top knot serves a purpose beyond mere decoration; it allows the hood to be pushed back to fit correctly, and forward in order to remove it.

Its highly polished finish gives the Charging Bull a stately presence.
