OUR HALLMARKS

INSTITUTED IN THE FOURTEENTH CENTURY, THE PRACTICE OF IMPRESSING SYMBOLS ON GOLD AND SILVER OBJECTS WAS INITIATED AS A METHOD OF QUALITY CONTROL AND CONSUMER PROTECTION.

MAKER’S MARK

The Maker’s Mark is a personal sign of the silversmith and can be likened to an artist’s signature on a painting.

STERLING SILVER MARK

The metal content is confirmed with the symbol ‘925’, which is the internationally accepted standard for sterling silver comprising 925 parts per thousand, or 92.5 percent of silver in the alloy.

ASSAY OFFICE MARK

Each assay office has its own mark. The cougar’s head is the mark of the Kuala Lumpur Assay Office of Malaysia.

CHARGING BULL

A symbol of financial optimism and success, the bull stands ready to charge against the status quo and forge its unique path towards a prosperous future. Hand-sculpted by artisans, the sculpture is set on a base moulded in bonded porcelain and coated in fine silver (99.9%) through a process called electro-forming. Its highly polished finish gives the Charging Bull a stately presence.

BULOH VASE

The Buloh vase is inspired by a traditional fish trap made mainly from bamboo and rattan. The name Buloh is taken from the Malay word for bamboo. The vase takes its shape from fine sterling silver rods neatly joined to form an eye-catching grid frame. The tall rounded vase has a mouth with a funnel-like core that leads into a glass container. Limited to 100 pieces only.

RIPPLE SERIES

A tall vase or a generous platter can sometimes say it all. A solitary piece with bold proportions creates quite a statement by itself. This series celebrates the beauty of movement and the unstructured. Inspired by the spontaneity found in glass and clay work, the forms conclude in soft undulating waves. The versatile character of silver speaks volumes.
