1. Membership sign-up is automatic upon meeting the minimum qualifying nett purchase amount in a single receipt at any Royal Selangor retail store worldwide. a. Applies to all Royal Selangor, Comyns and Selberan products b. The member’s home base will be set according to the country of sign-up. c. The member’s perks and benefits are determined by their home base currency. d. To change the home base, the member is required to request for the change and provide sufficient and relevant reasoning. If valid, the member’s home base will be updated accordingly. The changes may take up to five (5) working days to verify and complete. 2. Elite members are entitled to a 10% discount while Elite+ members are entitled to a 15% discount with every purchase, excluding limited editions and/or items on promotions, unless stated otherwise. 4. Members can only hold one (1) account per user. a. If members are found to have more than one (1) account, the account may be removed with all points and offers attached to the account. 5. A minimum spend per year is required to retain membership tier and status. The minimum spending is listed in the membership tier table. a. The amount a member spends in a year across all retail stores will be converted and tallied to the currency of the home base. b. The calculation for a member’s total spending per year begins at the member’s Privileges sign-up date. For a non-member with an account with Royal Selangor, the total spend per year will only be calculated when they sign up for a Privileges membership. c. If the customer already has an account with Royal Selangor and is signing up as a Privileges member, the minimum spend per year starts on the sign-up date of the member. d. If the minimum spend per year is not met, Elite+ members will be moved to the Elite tier, Elite members will be moved to the Classic tier and Classic members will lose their membership status. 6. All data will be processed according to the information provided by the member. If the member would like to change their personal data (e.g. birthday), the member must provide valid reasoning. a. Upon changing birthday data, members are not entitled to receive and redeem birthday benefits again until the following year. b. The birthday gift voucher value will be deducted from the first transaction in the member’s birthday month. If the transaction value exceeds the gift voucher value, the surplus is to be paid by the member. The gift voucher is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash. 7. To change a member’s birthday, the member must provide valid reasoning. a. Points will be invalid upon expiration, termination or deactivation of membership. b. Points are only earned from nett amount spent. c. Points earned are not redeemable for cash. 3. Membership benefits are applicable in Royal Selangor retail stores only.
